Sweetly Broken

To the cross I look, to the cross I cling
Of it's suffering I do drink
Of it's work I do sing

For on it my Savior both bruised and crushed
Showed that God is love
And God is just

Chorus:
At the cross You beckon me
You draw me gently to my knees, and I am
Lost for words, so lost in love,
I’m sweetly broken, wholly surrendered

What a priceless gift, undeserved life
Through Christ crucified

You’ve called me out of death
You’ve called me into life
And I was under Your wrath
Now through the cross I’m reconciled

Chorus:

In awe of the cross I must confess
How wondrous Your redeeming love and
How great is Your faithfulness

..blessed..

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

RED-Forever HQ lyrics

There is no success without hardship

The world is so constructed that if you wish to enjoy its pleasures, you must also endure its pains.
Like it or not, you cannot have one without the other.
Success is not measured by what you accomplish. It's measured by the opposition you encounter, and the courage with which you maintain your struggle against the odds.
You'll find all things are difficult before they are easy. The greater your obstacles, the more glory in overcoming them.
So, make up your mind before you start that sacrifice is part of the package.
No pain, no gain; No thorns, no throne; No cross, no crown.
You've got to go through the negative before you get to the positive.

Children live what they learn

If a child lives with criticism
He learns to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility
He learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule
He learns to be shy.

If a child lives with jealousy
He learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance
He learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement
He learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise
He learns to appreciate.

If a child lives with fairness
He learns justice.

If a child lives with security
He learns faith.

If a child lives with approval
He learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance
and friendship...
He learns to find love in the world.

Quotes/Thoughts of the Day

Your greatest place of challenge is your greatest place of growth & development! So don't seek the easy & convenient route which contribute to weakness. Realize that God has already given you tough feet for a rough road! You are equipped for your journey! Joyous travel. -Bishop Dale C. Bronner

I decree and declare that the Spirit of the Lord is upon YOU. You have the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge. As You advance, You are divinely empowered and increase in skill.

Friend, no matter what your circumstances may look like today, God’s plan is to bring you through to a place of abundance. He wants you to have an abundance of peace, an abundance of joy, an abundance of resources — He wants you to overflow with His blessings so that you can be a blessing to the people around.

Even when The Lord knew He was leaving, He loved fully, completely. Knowing He would be betrayed, He loved anyway. He has all authority, and He loves. Lord, as we recover, lead us in love; may your love flow through us. We cannot do it on our own. We need you!  (John 13:1-4) PS: He is love!

“Between the optimist and the pessimist, the difference is droll. The optimist sees the doughnut; the pessimist the hole!” - Oscar Wilde

‎"If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world."

When the world comes crashing in,
And chaos rules my mind,
I turn my heart to you, Lord,
And pure, sweet peace I find.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: Whatever He promises it is as good as done. People will promise one thing & do another. Believe Jesus when He says "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name." John 16:23. If He says it, I believe it. He is faithful & true. Whatever He promised He will deliver. Do you believe? Testify!

The Lord is my shepherd

He supplies all my needs. He orders my steps and cares about every detail of my life. He binds and heals my wounds. He picks me up when I am weak and protects me from all danger.
"Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for He is with me; His rod and his staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4

We are most free when we are totally dependent on him

When we admit our true condition- that our self will is insufficient and that we need the Lord more than anything else; then we are positioned for him to enter our lives in amazing ways and do what only he can do.

Don't fret under your load but wait on the Lord. Fear is a toxic spring from where anxiety, restlessness, and impatience flow. But from a heart that trusts the Lord are endless streams of joy, peace, and happiness. Restlessness, worry, and impatience solve nothing except take away our joy, peace, and happiness. When you come to wits end, be still and wait trustfully and patiently on him who holds everything together.

Many go through life either worrying about the future or haunted by the past. Don't worry about the future; about things that may never happen. Don't rehearse or playback the hurts and the pain of yesterday. Don't anticipate trouble, pain or loss. Matthew 6:34 says "therefore do not worry..." Live in the moment, one day at a time. Your life is in the hands of an able God.

Life is so much more than what your eyes are seeing. You will find your way if you keep believing.

Sin depresses the heart, it diseases the body. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
When a man has covered sin, he becomes very critical.

If you have no intentions in building someone up, don't tear them down.
